Sweden's nyckelharpa master, Peter Puma Hedlund, is arguably the foremost exponent of the nyckelharpa in the world today. His well honed and masterful technique is unsurpassed; his playing is powerful and precise, delighting audiences with a fanciful use of ornaments and flourishes giving a perception that there is more than one of him playing at once.

With a repertoire that is broad and deep, Peter Puma Hedlund spans the musical gamut from rooted traditional to contemporary folk. Peter is a composer as well as one of the main forces in the current revival of the nyckelharpa and its music.
