McInnis’ Kitchen performs their own special brand of traditional music rooted in their Canadian East Coast, Irish and Scottish heritage. Their performances feature four talented performers, all with individual backgrounds in traditional Irish, Newfoundland, Scottish, and Cape Breton music.

Sue Spencer, Chuck Butler, Mark Monroe and Jim Ofsthun all bring their diverse individual traditional styles together to form a unique style of music that is a mix of Celtic music and culture. It's as diverse as the Newfoundland, Cape Breton, Irish, and Scottish family heritage and cultural upbringing of the individual musicians themselves.

These four talented performers pull out all the stops and play from the heart. The fiery double-fiddling puts energy in their music. Their songs stimulate all the emotion of the tradition, rooted in a history of immigration, uprooting and relocation, and a celebration of life and culture.

Their performances evoke a world of traditional culture and storytelling, while drawing their audiences into the delightful experience, reminiscent of a downhome kitchen party.

McInnis' Kitchen have been featured on television and radio in the US and Canada. They have been featured as headliners at numerous concerts, festivals such as the Newfoundland & Labrador Folk Festival, Minnesota Irish Fair, Big Top Chautauqua, and Canada Day celebrations and have shared the stage with many top names in the industry.
